Brahear kicked off their spring baseball season Tuesday hosting Milan. The game was played at Kirksville north park as the new Brashear ballfield is not quite finished yet. Brashear got on the scoreboard in the bottom of the first and had built a 5-0 lead by the 3rd inning. Milan came back to tie the game at 5-all, but Brashear scored 5 more runs in the 6th to claim a 10-5 win. Jack Reeves had 4 hits for Brashear, with Carson Erwin having a triple and a single. John Higgins, Cole Erwin, Jake Holcomb, Rhett Whitlow, and Clancy Noe also had hits. Jack Reeves got the start with Drew Magruder and Carson Erwin pitching in relief.
